This is one of the best books I have read, I really enjoyed the story line, I felt for Billy all through, he was only a young lad but life was not so good, after losing his mum the way he did, it was heartbreaking. But after this his only wish was to find his dad, did he or didn’t he… I would say it’s a book you must read, great.

Given To Me For An Honest Review

OMG, OMG, OMG!! This book that was written by Tony Whelpton is fabulous. It is about a young boy who loses his mum during a air raid attack and has his leg broken also. He is sent to life with an aunt and cousins. The arrangement is not ideal at all. He one day decides to go to find out about his father who has been gone for quite sometime fighting in the war. Off he goes. He finds and experiences one adventure after another. He meets people who end up as lifetime friends. After sometime he finds out that his father is alive but in France. Plans are then done to get him home. What happens then is truly amazing. This little boy who had thought he lost everything in the end finds his Dad and ends up with a Mum too. I highly recommend this book to all. It is a book that once you begin reading it you will not be able to put it down. I only wish I could give it 10+ stars.
